Tips to complete all The First Descendant achievements

Most of the achievements naturally unlock as you progress the game. Once you’ve completed the main story and got most of the achievements, you can start targeting remaining ones. Those usually require significantly more grinding.

Here are a few tips to unlock all The First Descendant achievements:

  • Complete the main story and sub-quests. The main story teaches you all the core mechanics. You’ll complete zone missions, fight Void Intercept Battles, and more. You’ll occasionally get sub-quests telling you about more features, like the Weapon Level Transmission. Don’t ignore these; those features are important to making the most out of your characters, and there’re a few achievements tied to them.
  • Always have something to level up. Everyone has their favorite Descendant or weapon, but once you hit max Descendant level or Weapon Proficiency, switch to something else. Every level up grants Mastery EXP, increasing your Mastery Rank and granting access to more features. You can reset the level of a Descendant or weapon with a Crystallization Catalyst, so make sure to use them.
  • Always have something to farm. It may sound obvious (it’s a looter shooter, after all), but always have a goal. Regardless of whether it’s a new Descendant, Ultimate weapon, or a simple Module. The more stuff you get and unlock, the more things you can level up and the more achievements you can unlock.
