Alternate special rarity cards have driven early interest in One Piece Card Game’s OP-08 expansion, Two Legends, with one Whole Cake Island villain and a Rogers Pirate among the top-billed chase cards to look out for in your packs and boxes.

Now that One Piece’s eighth set, Two Legends, has finally hit trading store shelves, we can take a look at all the cards worth serious money on the secondary market. These are, of course, subject to price changes as OP-08 stock continues to drop (and we’ll update accordingly as it does) but most high-rarity cards will hold high demand.

This One Piece set, themed around Silvers Rayleigh and Edward Newgate, has several big chase cards you’re going to want to crack packs to find.

Best One Piece Two Legends cards to pull

11) Nami Alt-Art — $39

Unsurprisingly, one of the most popular Straw Hat crew members has another alt-art card that costs a dime to collect. This one depicts Nami in her Egghead outfit, which will drive up the price because that well-received future-themed arc is currently airing in the anime and literally just ended its manga run after several years.

10) Tashigi Special Rare — $41

Tashigi stays on the list for now. This Dot Esports writer originally tipped Tashigi to fall out of the list completely after release—mainly due to her early price being propped up by Eastern interest in the character—but the Navy swordswoman’s Two Legends price in the West has held okay. She’s slid to tenth (originally seventh) but is still worth over $40.

9) Monkey D. Luffy Treasure Rare — $42

There’s not a whole lot of mystery here: One Piece protagonist and Straw Hat captain Monkey D. Luffy commands solid prices for every parallel he gets and there’s a whole lot of love for the Egghead arc (and his costume from that storyline) to boot. These Western-only Treasure Rares do struggle to hold their value long-term, but Luffy’s is the best we’ve seen yet.

8) Marco Alt-Art Leader — $48

Two Legends has several Leaders that should squeeze into the One Piece competitive landscape, and Marco ranks near top among them. Red and Blue are a popular color combo and Marco is one of the all-time faves for anyone who loves the Whitebeard Pirates. His frankly handsome full-card art is just gravy.

Marco’s alt-art Leader card is also one of the movers of the Two Legends release. Originally opening at $97 around prerelease, the Whitebeard vice-captain’s Red/Blue card has dropped the least percentage-wise and rose several spots in this list as more and more players picked up his deck.

7) Queen Special Rare — $73

Queen from One Piece appears on a Purple Treasure Character card from the Bandai card game.

Queen’s five-cost blocker card from the Animal Kingdom Pirates Starter deck originally released in 2022 has stayed relevant through three years of metagame shifts, and so a Special Rare reprint was always going to fetch a pretty penny. Queen is also a popular character from the Wano Country arc.

6) Charlotte Pudding Special Rare — $76

As mentioned in her Leader section below (it was originally above before the Leader leaped up in price after release), Pudding’s a super popular character from the Big Mom Pirates. This, paired with the Special Rarity pull rates, put this squarely as one of the best hits in Two Legends, though it’s price impact has dropped from over $200 after launch.

5) Jewelry Bonney Special Rare — $79

Jewelry Bonney from One Piece appears on a Green Treasure Character card from the Bandai card game.

Bonney’s special card has three reasons for its price: One) It’s still played in one of the top metagame decks, Bonney’s OP-07 Leader, two) She’s a key character from the currently-airing One Piece anime arc, Egghead, and three) It’s easily one of the best looking Special Rares we’ve seen in recent times, which helps a lot here. Her price dropped somewhat, sliding $100, but that’s a trend the set has seen across the board; nothing to do with Bonney.

4) Gecko Moria Special Rare — $88

Like Queen, this Gecko Moria card still sees play in the metagame (in Blue Warlords Doflamingo) and was first released in a Starter Deck way back in 2022.

3) Portgas D. Ace Special Rare — $89

This version of Ace’s much-played Paramount War card from back in early 2023 leapfrogs several playable cards because of just how hugely popular Luffy’s brother is. It also helps that this still sees some play in any Red Whitebeard rush decks.

2) Charlotte Pudding Alt-Art Leaders — $94

Not only is Yellow/Purple an interesting color combination for any One Piece leader, but Emperor of the Sea Charlotte Linlin’s daughter Pudding is very simply a very popular character from the series. She’s one of the central characters who appears in the Sanji-focused Whole Cake Island arc and plays a crucial role as a secret enemy who then eventually flips sides to help the fleeing Straw Hats. Much of these two elements have driven her near-$100 demand.

1) Silvers Rayleigh Alt-Art (Manga Rare) — $432

The big one: Gol D. Roger’s right-hand man graces the cover art for Two Legends and is the big chase card of the expansion. While this Manga rare’s slumped quite considering post-release, dropping to below the $500 mark (a first for new-launch Mangas), Rayleigh’s still a very popular character for anyone who loves the old generation pirates in One Piece.

Anyone who bought the Silvers Rayleigh card at release may be kicking themselves though; the vice-captain’s card has dropped from $1,552 to just over $400 today.
