How to use the Zap Gun in Lethal Company

You must scan the area to find targets to use the Zap Gun. After scanning, the Zap Gun will fire out a shot of electricity, attaching itself to the target. You can do this by holding the left mouse button, then a beam will fire out of the Zap Gun if it detects any enemies.

Tip: Be quick!!

The Zap Gun lasts for 60 seconds if used all at one time and won’t kill anything, but will stun instead.

Monsters hit with the Zap Gun will be stunned. You must maintain the beam to ensure it remains on the enemy. To use it, press your left mouse button to begin scanning for a target. The Zap Gun will release electricity when it finds a target. To elongate the beam on an enemy, look left and right to keep the beam active. You need to sway with the beam to ensure you keep the connection, or it breaks and you’ll be stuck dealing with a hostile enemy.

The Zap Gun is an excellent way to prevent enemies from hurling themselves at you but requires teamwork. For example, a great way to defeat a killable enemy is to stun it using the Zap Gun and have an ally beat it with a weapon, like a shovel or a stop sign. It might take several hits, but if you keep the Zap Gun trained on an enemy, it won’t be able to move.

Tip: Using it against the Bunker Spider

Using this technique on a Bunker Spider will stop it in its tracks and having a friend hit it five times with the shovel while zapping with the zap gun it will end the spider permanently.
