Disney Dreamlight Valley has a collection of spooky-themed tasks you can progress through to earn festive rewards in the Trick or Treat Halloween event. One of the tasks you need to finish in this event is Sugar Rush.
Completing the Sugar Rush task grants you three of the best rewards you can get in the entire Halloween event, but it’s a bit of a tough one to finish. Here’s everything you need to do to complete the Sugar Rush Dreamlight Duty in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to complete the Disney Dreamlight Valley Sugar Rush Dreamlight Duty
To finish the Sugar Rush Dreamlight Duty for the Trick or Treat Halloween event, you have to consume a total of 45 Sweet-based meals. This includes any dish that has at least one Sweet ingredient in it.
There are three tiers to the Sugar Rush task, so to fully finish it, 45 Sweet dishes are required. You earn a unique reward at each of the three tiers though, so this duty is sort of three separate tasks within one larger one since your progress is marked three times as you make your way through it.
Tier | Amount | Reward | Image |
---|---|---|---|
One | 15 | Happy Jack-O’-Lantern | |
Two | 30 | Mischievous Jack-O’-Lantern | |
Three | 45 | Friendly Jack-O’-Lantern |
All Sweets in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To make the Sweet meals you need for the Sugar Rush task, you need to know which ingredients count as Sweets. There are four Sweets you can use to cook these kinds of dishes.
Ingredient | Image | How to get |
---|---|---|
Agave | Grows in the wild all throughout the vast Glittering Dunes biome including The Oasis, The Plains, The Wastes, and The Borderlands. Agave is excessive to Eternity Isle, so you need to have the A Rift in Time DLC to access it. | |
Cocoa Bean | They can be harvested from Cacao Trees around your valley. There are six of these trees in your village, four of which start off in the Sunlit Plateau biome and two of which start off in the Glade of Trust area. These trees can freely be moved anywhere in the valley, so you may need to check the map for the fruit icon to track them down if you previously chose to move them. | |
Sugarcane | A growable crop that can be planted, watered, and harvested using Sugarcane Seeds. These seeds sometimes randomly drop while you perform activities around the valley, but the most reliable way to get them is by purchasing them from Goofy’s Stall in the Dazzle Beach biome for five Star Coins. He always has these seeds for sale but he also might sometimes sell grown Sugarcane for 29 Star Coins. | |
Vanilla | Grows in the wild throughout the Sunlit Plateau biome. You may also find a few Vanilla growing in The Lion King Realm. |
