Zhezhi is the newest five-star Resonator to join Wuthering Waves, and you can add her to your party to push your team’s next damage to the next level.
Her Glacio Element provides a much-needed addition to the Wuthering Waves Resonators who didn’t have many options in the same icy elements. Now, with Zhehi, you can play many team combinations to take down Tacet Discords. Here’s how to build Zhezhi in Wuthering Waves.
How to build Zhezhi in Wuthering Waves
A shy painter by nature, Zhezhi works like Yuanwu and Mortefi, where she acts as a sub-DPS character and doesn’t demand too much field time to work her magic. She lets your DPS shine by giving them Glacio buffs and jukes around the enemies with her Resonance skill until they are to take the stage and deal damage.
Sanhua was undoubtedly one of the best Glacio sub-DPS characters in Wuthering Waves and she was also available for free to obtain for the players by logging in daily for seven days. However, the mono-Glacio squad stood relatively weak in the game due to the lack of options. Also, Lingyang being one of the weakest five-star Glacio DPS Resonators, didn’t help their case either.
Zhezhi is an S-tier sub-DPS in our tier list, and she is here to restore glory to the mono-Glacio teams by being the centerpiece and forming a team with Lingyang and Baizhi as the healer. You can also remove Lingyang completely from the lineup and bring Sanhua in to build a two-sub-DPS team. Now let’s take a look at Zhezhi’s best build.
Weapon
There are a ton of Resonators using Rectifier weapons in Wuthering Waves, so you shouldn’t face any problem finding a great weapon for her. Her banner weapon is Rime-Draped Sprouts, an aesthetic weapon that increases her overall attack by 12 percent and gives her crit damage as the weapon stat—quite good for dealing heavy amounts of damage.
You can also use the Cosmic Ripples, Variation, and Jinzhou Keeper, which are fantastic alternatives as they provide energy regen on her abilities and help her buff the next Resonator in the party.
Echo sets and skill
If you’re building a mono Glacio team with Zhezhi, the no-brainer Echo set to build is Freezing Frost, where you get Lampylumen Myriad as your primary echo and boost your Glacio damage. Moreover, if you have the five-stack boost, then using your basic or heavy attack increases your Glacio attacks further, making it a powerful choice for a perfect echo set.
However, if you’re using her in a non-mono Glacio team with other powerful Resonators, consider using the Moonlit Clouds route to have energy regen and get the Impermanence Heron echo. The echo set helps you buff the next character’s damage output, directly synergizing with Zhezhi’s core kit.
Echo set stats and substats
While choosing the right echoes is important to get the elemental buffs, the echoes’ subsets also help you gain additional stats, which help you in the heat of battle. So, here are the main sub-stats that you should be looking for while building her:
- Four Cost: Crit damage/percent
- Three Cost: Energy Regen + Glacio damage
- One Cost: Attack percent
Best Zhezhi Fortes
After you’ve accumulated all the materials to upgrade her Fortes skills, you need to prioritize her Resonance Liberation, Resonance Skill, followed by Basic Attacks, Forte Circuit, and Intro Skill. Most of her damage and energy regen comes from her Resonance skill and liberation, so upgrading it first with her basic attacks would be the way to reach her peak power.
Best Zhezhi Resonance Chains
To unlock Zhezhi’s true potential, you have to keep pulling copies and level up her Resonance Chains. You get individual power by getting one to three copies of her, and the fourth lets you unlock a huge buff for your team strength—enough to fully get the most out of her during battles.
