Each act, VALORANT players can level up a battle pass that offers a variety of unique cosmetics, from gun buddies to sprays to weapon skins and more. At the very end of each act’s pass is a rare melee item, alongside an “epilogue” of bonus rewards.

The battle pass is free and available to anyone who logs in during its duration, but the free pass only comes with a handful of rewards and a bit of Radianite. The cost of the battle pass each season is worth it for players looking to build up a skin collection quickly and for a fraction of the price of featured skin bundles.

If time isn’t on your side and you want to reach the final chapter of the battle pass, you will have to think (and act) fast. Here’s how to level up your battle pass as quickly as possible to complete it in time.

Fastest way to get XP in VALORANT

The fastest way to earn XP is to complete your daily and weekly missions, which earn you easy additional points towards your battle pass progression. The best thing about these missions is they won’t stray you from enjoying VALORANT normally, but are just things you can keep in the back of your mind. Both can be tracked from the missions tab on the main menu.

Complete Dailies

  • Can be completed across various game modes.
  • Provides large chunks of XP alongside the XP you earn from just playing normally.
  • Stacks with other XP farming methods.

As of Episode Seven, daily missions have been reworked into a checkpoint system with 4,000 XP up for grabs each day compared to the previous maximum of 2,000 XP. As the name suggests, completing these VALORANT missions should be a daily requirement if you’re trying to level up your battle pass.

There are four checkpoints to be completed each day, with each checkpoint rewarding 1,000 XP plus 150 Kingdom Credits. Each checkpoint is made up of four charges, meaning you’ll need to earn 16 charges each day.

Charges are earned at different rates per mode:

  • Earn two daily XP charges per match of Spike Rush, Escalation, or Team Deathmatch.
  • Earn one daily XP charges per round won of Unrated, Swiftplay, Competitive, or Premier.
  • No daily XP charges are earned via Deathmatch.
Tip:

Personally I like to run Team Deathmatch if I’m not in the mood to play with random teammates in Competitive or Unrated. I can just put on some music, get some aim practice in, and progress both dailies and weeklies.

The most efficient way to get the max XP from missions would be to win a game of Unrated, Competitive, or Premier, and then win Swiftplay. This would count as 17 won rounds, and you need 16 to max out your dailies.

Complete Weekly missions

  • Complete at your own pace
  • Provide the biggest chunks of XP

Weekly missions have remained the same as they’ve always been. Each week you’ll receive a new set of three weekly missions that require you to reach a certain number within a specific category, like ultimate uses, overall rounds played, enemies killed, and items bought.

Unlike daily missions, which always refresh after 24 hours regardless of completion, weekly missions in VALORANT actually stack. This means you need to complete each weekly set before accessing the next week, but it also means you can save all your weekly mission sets and play through all of them on your own time.

If you’re in the final week of an Act and need to grind out a bunch of XP at once, going through all of the weekly missions that you missed is a great way to get a bunch of XP in a short time.

Other ways to quickly level up your battle pass in VALORANT

Buy the premium battle pass

Once you’ve spent 1,000 VALORANT points to get the premium battle pass, you will get an automatic three percent bonus on all battle pass XP earned. If your goal is to level up your battle pass quickly, you should buy the premium pass early, since you miss out on the bonus if you buy it later.

Be an active Xbox Game Pass subscriber

Additionally, Game Pass subscribers also get a big portion of bonus XP. As a part of Riot Games teaming up with Xbox, not only do Game Pass subscribers get free access to all current and future agents, but they also get a massive 20 percent XP bonus. This also stacks with the three percent bonus to all battle pass XP if you’re a premium pass owner.
