Thunder Cage is the first Ultimate weapon you get in The First Descendant, and it’s a powerful gun. It’s also the best weapon for Bunny thanks to its unique ability to deal AoE Electrical damage.
Whether you’re a Bunny main or are simply looking to make the most out of this Ultimate weapon, here’s the best build for Thunder Cage in The First Descendant.
Best Modules for Thunder Cage in The First Descendant
Thunder Cage has a 20 percent base Firearm Critical Hit Rate, allowing you to build Critical Hit on this weapon comfortably. Focus on offensive Modules that boost Firearm ATK, Firearm Critical Hit Rate, and Firearm Critical Hit Damage.
The Weak Point Damage multiplier on the Thunder Cage is very low (1.2 at base) compared to a weak point-focused weapon like Python, so don’t waste your Kuiper Shards on Modules with this stat.
Here are some of the recommended Modules for Thunder Cage:
Module | Effect |
---|---|
Rifling Reinforcement | Increases Firearm ATK |
Action and Reaction | Increases Firearm ATK and Recoil |
Insight Focus | Increases Firearm Critical Hit Rate and Critical Hit Damage |
Better Insight | Increases Reload Time Modifier and Critical Hit Rate |
Better Concentration | Increases Firearm Critical Hit Damage |
Concentration Priority | Increases Firearm Critical Hit Damage but reduces Reload Time Modifier |
Expand Weapon Charge | Increases Rounds per Magazine |
Fire Rate UP | Increases Fire Rate |
You can also add Modules with Rounds per Magazine and Fire Rate, as they also increase the weapon’s DPS. Don’t forget to enhance Modules at Silion in Albion, but remember that the Module’s capacity cost increases with every enhancement.
Best stats for Thunder Cage in The First Descendant
Like any other weapon, Thunder Cage can roll with random stat bonuses you can readjust at the Workbench. The main stats to look for on the weapon itself are similar to what you want to look for on its Modules.
Here are the stats to look for on Thunder Cage:
- Firearm ATK
- Firearm Critical Hit Rate
- Firearm Critical Hit Damage
- Bonus Firearm ATK
I don’t recommend rerolling stats too much because you need a lot of Fine Adjustment Control Axis, especially if you want to lock in multiple stats. Aim to get one or two stats mentioned above of rare or Ultimate rarity and leave the rest to the RNG. Another reason to reroll would be when you got an ATK bonus stat of a wrong attribute.
