Lucrative rewards await you behind Krat’s Trinity Doors.

To find Trinity Keys in Lies of P, you need to be on high alert for the five Ringing Phones in Areas III, V, VII, IX, and X, then answer each of Alrecchino’s riddles. If you’re having trouble finding the phones or answering a particular riddle, you can use our guide detailing all Arlecchino phone riddle answers and locations.

Where to use Trinity Keys in Lies of P

You can use Trinity Keys in Lies of P at the following Trinity Doors:

  • Area III: Workshop Union Culvert
  • Area IV: St. Frangelico Cathedral Chapel
  • Area VI: Estella Opera House
  • Area IX: Krat Central Station Lobby
  • Area XI: Arche Abbey Outer Wall

Of the five Trinity Doors in Lies of P, four need Trinity Keys and one requires the Chosen One’s Trinity Key that you get by answering Arlecchino’s final phone riddle. Let’s dive straight into where you can find all the doors.

1) Area III: Workshop Union Culvert

The first Trinity Room you encounter is in Area III.

  1. From the Workshop Union Culvert Stargazer, head up the steps leading to the sewer and into the tunnel with the rolling fireballs.
  2. Proceed uphill through the tunnel, carefully avoiding the balls.
  3. Turn right and go down the passage closest to the end of the tunnel.
  4. Follow the path out and turn left, past the area where you met Red Fox and Black Cat, and proceed onward into the next indoor area.
  5. Instead of going left through the red tunnel, go right and follow the passage until you see the first Trinity Room on the left.

In the safe found in the first Trinity Room, you can loot the following rewards:

  • Quartz
  • Blue Blood’s Tailcoat
Tip:

Items like the Blue Blood’s Tailcoat are Outfits. Any Outfit you find won’t alter your gameplay or grant any buffs, but they do allow you to customize Pinocchio so you can take back Krat in style.

2) Area IV: St. Frangelico Cathedral Chapel

  1. From the St. Frangelico Cathedral Chapel stargazer in Area IV, head into the cathedral.
  2. Walk down the broken path leading into the hole in the ground, and climb down the ladder.
    • You’ll enter a room with lots of wooden scaffolding, clockwork mechanisms, and ladders leading upward.
  3. Head up the ladders, cross the rafters, then go down the ladder on the other side of the rafters and you’ll reach an area with an electric ball hazard.
    • This is the level’s mandatory route, so you can’t miss the path.
  4. Carefully avoid the electric ball and head up the slope.
  5. At the top of the slope, there’s a small alcove on the right with a ladder leading to another ramp above. Climb the ladder to get to a secret area.
    • You’ll find yourself on the top level where the electric balls are dropping down from.
  6. Proceed up this ramp, carefully avoiding the ball, and there’s a Trinity Room on the left-hand side of the tunnel.

Tip:

If you’re in a hurry and find all this wandering exploration is taking too long, you can use your Sprint button to ascend or descend ladders more quickly (B on Xbox, Circle on PlayStation, or Spacebar on PC).

Once you’re inside the second Trinity Room, you’ll find the following rewards:

  • Black Cat Amulet
  • Monster Sweeping Hunter’s Apparel

3) Area VI: Estella Opera House

The Trinity Door in Area VI is in Estella Opera House. It’s at the bottom of the room just before the stage where you encounter the boss, with the narrow beam and swinging chandelier.

  1. Proceed through the level via the mandatory route until you get to this room.
    • It’s hard to go wrong, as the level is fairly linear, although the enemies themselves can be quite tough.
  2. Instead of crossing the narrow beam toward the boss arena, drop down and turn around — there’ll be a Trinity Room right in front of you.

Now that you’re in one of the easier-to-find Trinity Rooms, open the safe and grab these rewards:

  • Quartz
  • Belford Superior Radiation Converter
Tip:

Not sure what to do with all of the Quartz you’re collecting? Regularly visit Geppetto’s office on the second floor of Hotel Krat and interact with the P-Organ. This lets you assign all your gathered Quartz to different buffs and skills.

4) Area IX: Krat Central Station Lobby

This Trinity Door is hard to miss. In Area IX, from the Krat Central Station stargazer, go down the stairs on the left of the station exit. This door was closed on your first visit here, but now it’s open, and the Trinity Room is directly ahead.

Search the room and loot these rewards:

5) Area XI: Arche Abbey Outer Wall

  1. In Area XI, proceed until you reach the Arche Abbey Outer Wall stargazer.
  2. Continue through the level until you reach a tall indoor area with wooden beams that span the length of the room.
  3. Descend using the wooden beams and ladders.
  4. Find the final Trinity Room at the bottom of the area.

This door is a little different than the others, as it requires a specific key to enter. If you solved all the previous riddles and took care of the final one, you should have the Chosen One’s Trinity Key, the only one that can open the room.

Inside the final Trinity Room, you’ll find the King of Riddles himself, and he asks you one final question:

  • “Are you a puppet or a human being? Which one are you?”.

Your answer will get different reactions from Arlecchino, but the good news is that it won’t change the rewards you receive.

The rewards in the final Trinity Room are:

  • Quartz
  • Alchemist’s Cape

Should you kill Arlecchino in Lies of P?

Last but not least, you have to decide whether to kill Arlecchino. This is the last decision you need to make in Lies of P’s Trinity Room quest. When you hear about all the horrible deeds Arlecchino has committed, and also find out he doesn’t feel any shame, it’s up to you to decide his fate.

If I were you, I’d attack Arlecchino. He dies on the spot, but you shouldn’t feel too bad because he drops a Radiant Ergo.
