Following a disappointing loss to Oxygen Supremacy—now Naventic—at DreamHack Atlanta on July 22, Str8 Rippin was relegated out of the Halo Championship Series (HCS) Pro League. After this loss, Str8 Rippin’s future in Halo was uncertain.

This uncertainty, however, has come to an end, as the organization recently revealed its new Halo roster for the upcoming season.

Str8’s new roster includes Dan “Danoxide” Terlizzi, Aaron “Ace” Elam, Hamza “Commonly” Abbaali, and Hunter “Baby J” Schline, the organization announced last night.

This roster was previously hinted at by Danoxide on Aug. 24 when he tweeted “ABCD,” which is an acronym with the first letter of his teammate’s gamertags in alphabetical format.

Many Halo fans are glad to see this historic brand return to Halo. Str8 has been attending competitive Halo events since 2005, even though it just became an official esports organization last November.

Str8 Rippin’s next tournament will be today’s North American Placement Cup, which started at 12pm ET. You can watch Str8’s new lineup compete in this cup on Ace and Baby J’s Twitch channels.
