This weekend hosted the first Halo 5 event, Iron Gaming Daytona 2015. Featuring a $10,000, the tournament started on October 30th, which was only three days after the game came out! Due to the low amount of preparation time and prize money, essentially every top team choose to stay home. There were, however, several top players who decided to form teams just for this event and compete in relatively unorganized rosters. Due to the low amount of team talent at the event, only the top eight are featured below.

Congratulations to
Daytona for being the first Halo 5 champions! Unfortunately, as mentioned previously, there wasn’t much in terms of high level talent at the event. Hopefully the information for this season of the Halo Championship Series will be released shortly and we’ll start to get ready for top level tournaments!
