Today, both the North American and United Kingdom played their first Online Qualifier tournament for the Halo World Championship. Despite its name, the tournament doesn’t actually award a spot in the final tournament, only Pro Points that contribute towards a spot at each region’s respective Regional Finals.
Both tournaments were single elimination and used their HWC open ladder for seeding. Both tournaments use the following breakdown for the awarding of Pro Points, however, the winners of the NA ladder also received $1,000.
