PUBG is already the second most-watched game on Twitch

In total hours viewed, it surpassed Hearthstone, Overwatch, and CS:GO.

What did you win? Nothing—except for the satisfying feeling of knowing millions of fans agree that PUBG is an amazing game. And for a game that’s only been in early access for a few months, that’s very impressive.

For the month of May, PUBG hit a staggering 47 million hours watched on Twitch, according to a data report by newzoo, an esports and gaming insight platform. 47 million hours. There are few words to describe how undeniably successful a game is when it’s watched for 47 million hours during its third month after release, and “jackpot” is certainly one of them. In fact, the only game that beat PUBG in hours watched was League of Legends, which clocked in at almost 90 million hours.

Two streamers that have been leading the charge to turn PUBG into such an entertaining game to watch are Grimmmz and DrDisRespect, who both pull in north of 10,000 live viewers almost every time they broadcast.

If you’re looking for top level PUBG streams to help you get better at the game, while simultaneously being extremely fun to watch, there aren’t many options as good as these guys.

That definitely doesn’t mean that there aren’t other great channels out there, though. Every time you navigate to the PUBG directory on Twitch, there’s usually a solid 24 channels or so all with over 2,000 viewers. It’s thanks to these communities that PUBG has seen such booming success on Twitch, and it looks like it’s only going to get bigger and better.
