Despite the horrors people in the city have to go through, the frozen world of Frostpunk 2 is beautiful to look at. From snowy mountains to the city’s generator filled with heat, there are many moments for you to capture.
To take awe-inspiring pictures, ideally, you need a Photo Mode. Here’s everything you need to know about a Photo Mode in Frostpunk 2.
Is there a Photo Mode in Frostpunk 2?
No, there’s no built-in Photo Mode in Frostpunk 2 at the time of writing, but developer 11 bit studios might add it later as it did with the original game. Alternatively, we might see community-made Photo Mode mods, as the game shipped with the official modding support.
There’s also no way to hide or scale down the UI. The best thing you can do to take screenshots is ensure there are no markers on the screen, pause the game, take the screenshot, and scale up the image in software like Photoshop to hide the UI borders.
Another thing you can do is use the zoom-in feature to have a closer look at districts and buildings. These scenes have no UI but limit your view to only one district or building and have a spyglass effect. Select the district in your city and press the magnifying glass icon at the bottom of the many or under the building image to zoom in.
You can also witness unique scenes using this feature that contribute to some of the Frostpunk 2 achievements and simply tell you more about the people’s lives in the city.
