A big weekend for the House of Mouse lies ahead with Disney’s D23 expo and Fortnite is set to take center stage. During the event, an exclusive livestream will take place and we’ve got the details you need to watch it.
The exact details of what will be revealed during the livestream are not known but we can expect details of Fortnite‘s next season, which starts on Aug. 16, as the leaked 2024 roadmap showed there would be a Marvel theme—something all the signs continue to point to.
We could also see more about Disney’s massive $1.5 billion investment into Epic Games and Fortnite, with plans to create a “new persistent universe” for characters from all of Disney’s big brands, but we can only speculate at this point.
It will certainly be an event you won’t want to miss, though, and we’ve got the details you need to tune in.
How to watch Fortnite’s Disney D23 stream
Disney’s special D23 stream will be available exclusively in Fortnite and can only be viewed by being present in the game. Although clips and details will likely be shared on social media, there’s only one place to be to hear the news directly.
The stream starts on Aug. 10 at 10:30pm CT. The Disney Horizons Live Island opens an hour before the event and can also be found by using the Island code 7908-6413-2516.
Those who miss out on the stream live, or want to rewatch the action, have the freedom to do so. The presentation will remain on loop on the special Island until Aug. 16. An exact time has not been provided but it’s likely to be until the servers go down for the start of the new season.
There’s a special incentive to make an appearance, though, as watching for 10 minutes provides the Peelverine Plush Back Bling and XP. The item is not exclusive, however, and may appear in the Item Shop in the future.
You can earn the Peelverine Plush back bling at any point until the event Island disappears on Aug. 16, so there’s no reason to miss out.
