Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost brings scary vibes and new loot. As always, the main currency in this event is Candy, which you can earn by completing activities and then exchange for rewards at Eva Levante in the Tower.
Before farming Candy, make sure to have your Masquerader’s Helm (Festival of the Lost mask) equipped, as only then will the enemies drop Candy. Unfortunately, that means builds involving Exotic helmets aren’t as viable for farming, but masks drop with decent stat rolls, so you can make them a part of other builds.
With the mask equipped, here are the best ways to farm Candy in Destiny 2 during Festival of the Lost.

Best ways to farm Candy in Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost
Shattered Throne final boss
Time and time again, the final encounter of the Shattered Throne dungeon is one of the best Candy farms during the spooky season. One boss run grants around 160 Candy and is very quick to complete, as long as you kill the Knights and collect three damage buffs.
However, you need a fireteam for this farm (or at least one teammate) and a boss checkpoint. Get a checkpoint from a checkpoint bot and keep rotating it as you do the runs to quickly rack up enough Candy for Exotic class items.
Heroic Public Events
Another good Candy farm is Heroic Public Events. Travel to your favorite destination and look for active Public Events. One Heroic Public Event grants around 180 Candy alongside any additional Candy you get from killing enemies throughout the event.
This is a great way to farm Candy if you want to kick back and relax solo. Make sure to do the event mechanics to activate the Heroic mode. Every event has a unique mechanic, so make sure to learn them before farming.
Ritual activities
Finally, you can play ritual activities, which include Vanguard, Crucible, and Gambit. One regular Vanguard Ops strike grants around 260 Candy alongside additional Candy drops from enemies throughout the strike.
Ritual activities are longer to complete, but you can make the most out of your time by doing the event card challenges at the same time. Some require playing Vanguard, Crucible, or Gambit while wearing a mask or defeating combatants using a specific weapon.
