The 2v8 mode in Dead by Daylight is all fun and games until you queue as a Killer. With or without a premade, the Killer queue can be quite lengthy, but you might wonder exactly how long it is. We have the answer.
How long is the 2v8 Killer queue in DBD?
The Killer queue in Dead by Daylight‘s 2v8 mode can vary, though not significantly, and is mainly inflated by the fact that most players simply do not want to play as Survivors. Developer Behaviour Interactive even tried to incentivize players by offering a 400 percent increase in match Bloodpoints to Survivors, which has helped somewhat though the issue persists.
Depending on the Killer you select and the time of day, your queue times should be something like the following:
- The Trapper: 5-6 minutes peak hours, 7-8 minutes otherwise.
- The Wraith: 5-6 minutes peak hours, 7-8 minutes otherwise.
- The Huntress: 7 minutes peak hours, 8-9 minutes otherwise.
- The Nurse: 5 minutes peak hours, 7-8 minutes otherwise.
- The Hillbilly: 6 minutes peak hours, 8 minutes otherwise.
These are anecdotal estimates based on my queue times as of July 31, and your experience might vary. But it shouldn’t stray too far from them, especially if you pick a Killer such as The Huntress, who is likely the most popular option in the 2v8 mode. My queue times with The Huntress have recently been around 10 minutes or more. Survivor queues usually last less than 30 seconds, so while it’s an unpopular choice, you can get into matches quicker.
