There are many ailments that can befall the reincarnated Monkey King in Black Myth: Wukong. Of the Four Banes, Thunder (or Shock), is among the more potent, so here is how to cure the Shocked State in Black Myth: Wukong.
How to remove Shock in Black Myth Wukong
All the Four Banes are easy to get rid of once you know what to use. In this case, the best way to cure Thunder in Black Myth: Wukong is to use the Shock-Quelling Powder. This medicine is available to you right away and can be crafted by visiting a Shrine and going to the Make Medicines tab. You need one Gentian and one Jade Lotus to make Shock-Quelling Powder, which not only cures you of Shock and Thunder but also provides you with increased Shock Resistance for a duration.
Both Gentian and Jade Lotus are common herbs that you will find in every region of the game in each of its chapters, so don’t worry about running low. You should also make sure to unlock the Ruyi Scroll area in Chapter 3 so that you have constant access to all sorts of herbs through one mysterious character who loves planting and sharing them with the Destined One. If you want to protect yourself from Shock or the other three Banes, you should craft the Galeguard Beastmaw Armor set or equip the Bronze Buddha Pendant.
Crafting resistance pills at Xu Dog’s furnace is also a good source of defense against this and all the other Banes in Black Myth: Wukong.
