So who is the upcoming new legend to Apex? Here’s what we know about who Conduit is, how she qualified for the Apex Games, and what abilities she brings to her squad.

All Conduit abilities in Apex Legends

Conduit’s abilities were officially introduced in the season 19 gameplay trailer for Ignite.

Official ability descriptions for Conduit’s entire kit are also provided on the EA website.

Class Passive: Support

Conduit is able to craft unrecovered or expired ally banner cards at Crafting Replicators, and access Blue Supply Bin’s extra loot compartments, which contain guaranteed healing items.

Conduit’s shield heals are only temporary, and will still require her teammates to use shield cells or batteries to heal. As such, Conduit teams should always be on the lookout for POIs with blue supply bins, and take advantage of the healing difference they have when taking consecutive fights.

Passive: Savior’s Speed

“Gain a burst of speed when running towards a teammate out of tactical range.”

Conduit’s passive gives her a speed boost when her teammates are out of range of her tactical ability range, the same amount of speed that Octane gains from using Stim.

This ability works just like Bangalore’s Double Time passive, with a similar icon appearing in the middle of the screen to indicate to Conduit players when the ability is currently active. Savior’s Speed has infinite range, and can trigger anywhere on the map, allowing Conduit to keep up with high mobility Skirmisher teammates, finding sneaky flanking routes in fights, or cutting her losses and running away to craft her fallen allies’ banners.

Tactical (Q): Radiant Transfer

“Send a surge of energy to a teammate, generating temporary shields for them and Conduit when in danger.”

Conduit’s tactical works in a circular range, similar to Wattson’s Pylon, and when she activates it, the ability affects both her and one teammate. This shield heal provides temporary shields, recharging any missing shields to full.. The effects are only temporary, and will slowly decay after a period of time, unless Conduit uses her Tactical again to maintain the shields.

Ultimate: Energy Barricade

“Deploy an array of shield jamming devices which damage and slow enemies.”

Conduit’s Ultimate holsters her weapons to aim and shoot her Barricade, which range and landing indicators similar to Fuse’s Motherload. Once her Ultimate lands, it creates a line of batteries that damage and down any enemies who walk through it, just like Wattson’s Perimeter Security fences. These batteries deal 10 damage, and can be destroyed to clear a path for enemies caught in the affected area.

All Conduit lore in Apex Legends

Conduit’s reason for joining the Apex Games is simple: provide for her family at any cost.

The first direct confirmation of Conduit’s existence from Respawn came in a teaser for her Stories from the Outlands episode. The included picture shows a group text between Conduit and her family congratulating her for winning the right to participate in the Apex Games in Tagalog, revealing her ethnicity as the first Filipino legend in Apex.

Excited season 19 fans finally got their first glimpse at Conduit’s appearance and lore in her SFTO episode, which premiered on Oct. 19.

Rowenna Valentina Coffey Divina is a 27 year old native of Nexus, who was always inspired by a Monarch Titan which sacrificed itself for the planet during a government coup. This bravery would inspire Rowenna to watch the Apex Games with her family, and start her own ambitions to become an Apex Legend.

However, while Conduit continued to help out at home, her older sister, Diwa, would be injured at her job, causing financial problems for their family as bills piled up with nobody pay them. Still inspired by the Monarch’s sacrifice early in her childhood, Conduit traveled back to the radiation site and willingly salvaged the unstable Titan battery, creating her own combat gear which she would use to fight in local tournaments and gain the experience to try out for the Apex Games.

Rowenna would prove herself in a successful qualification match be inducted into the games with the legend name of Conduit. However, the choice to salvage the battery would have grave repercussions for her future health, as the battery’s radioactive fallout continues to deteriorate her body and slowly kills her.
