Do you hate being the Jumpmaster in Apex Legends when you really just want to drop solo? Well, apparently, so does Twitch streamer Cheesedex—but he’s found the perfect “solution.”
In a hilarious clip, Cheesedex is dropping into Interstellar Relay with the nuisance of an unwelcome teammate following behind.
“Oh my gosh, he’s sticking with me,” Cheesedex said. “Get off me.”
It seemed as though he’d simply have to deal with sharing loot with the Pathfinder player dropping alongside him. But at seemingly the last-possible second, Cheesedex had a “eureka” moment and realized how he could shake the teammate.
“I’m gonna drop him off the map,” Cheesedex said, landing just on the edge of a cliff that would give the soon-to-be-betrayed teammate no room to land. As Cheesedex hits the ground, he looks to his right to see the Pathfinder player jet off the map at full speed.
“Wait, did it work?” Cheesedex said, laughing in disbelief that his evil scheme had come to fruition. The player’s respawn banner appeared back on the playing map, leading Cheesedex to laugh even harder.
Perhaps as an act of redemption, he immediately ran to pick up the banner. Just after the clip ends, the deceased teammate disconnected from the game. “You know, I kinda feel bad,” Cheesedex said.
We’re sure he felt terrible about having the entire high-tier loot drop all to himself.
