Doctor Doom is one of the all-time supervillains in the Marvel universe and has caused havoc on more than one occasion, so let’s see if Victor is on his way—which would be fantastic for us.

Marvel Rivals is slowly but surely filling its roster with MCU stars and legendary heroes and villains, but we’re aching for the arrival of Death incarnate himself.

Can you play as Dr Doom in Marvel Rivals?

You can’t play as Doctor Doom right now because the Marvel character has only recently been revealed and hasn’t been added to the roster as a fully playable character yet.

As I said, we know Victor is on his way, and the devs confirmed this with the launch of the “No One Rivals Doom” cinematic trailer, which debuted on July 26, 2024.

Do we know when Doctor Doom is coming to Marvel Rivals?

Unfortunately, we don’t know when Doctor Doom is coming to Marvel Rivals as developer NetEase Games (nor Marvel) hasn’t indicated when the villain is on his way.

But Marvel Rivals is fond of betas, and with no official release date in sight, expect Victor to more than likely headline the next beta for the online shooter.

Venom was the star attraction for the second Marvel Rivals beta, so we’d hazard a guess Dr Doom will prop up the next beta’s incomings—but this is purely speculative for now.
