Fallout London finally launched after a three-month delay due to Fallout 4’s April next-gen update. The much-anticipated mod is drowning in bugs and glitches, but developer Team FOLON is already working hard to fix them.

Many players enjoying Fallout London are faced with game-breaking bugs: “A great game, but unplayable,” one of the top reviews on GOG.com reads. Now, the developer is trying its best to solve the latest issues. “We’re working hard to fix the reported technical issues and expect to release an update soon. Thank you for your patience,” Team FOLON wrote on X on July 29.

At the same time, the developer thanked the community for its warm reception to Fallout: London, which they said was “truly heartwarming.” At the time of writing, it has 3.3 stars out of five on GOG.com, which, to be fair, is quite impressive for a mod developed by volunteers.

The developer also linked to its forum on GOG where players and modders are sharing common bug fixes. If you encounter a problem and can’t find the solution on this site, we suggest you visit Team FOLON’s Discord channel instead. There are lots of active modders there who are working on updates and fixes.

One of these fixes is—you guessed it—going through the installation process again. The bigger Fallout mods all have lengthy installation processes, and even one mistake can ruin the whole thing. Amusingly, one player found a way to fix the Fallout London mod by installing another mod.

In the meantime, there’s not much else to do other than have patience and wait for Team FOLON to release further updates. Fallout London is probably the closest we’ll get to a new mainline Fallout game for a while, as Fallout 5 is still a few years away and won’t be released until after The Elder Scrolls 6.
