Apex Legends’ Prowler SMG is causing visual bugs when used with some Caustic’s skins

One of Caustic's legendary skins seems to be the most common way to experience this bug.

Players have found that Caustic’s legendary skin Sixth Sense may cause the your sight to be almost entirely covered by a visual glitch when aiming down the sights using the Prowler submachine gun. One of the players who got more information about the issue recorded a video and published it on Reddit to showcase the bug.

The major issue about this bug is that the bottom half of the player screen is covered by this grey visual glitch, making it impossible to actually aim with the Prowler and Caustic skin combo.

A few noted that this bug has been found before, but not with the same level of detail as this time. Other players said they also experienced that same bug with Caustic’s skin in Apex when using the Prowler, but only with Holo sights. Other sights like Hcog and Digital Threat are apparently not causing this issue, and other weapons seem to be working fine with the skin.

Other players reported a similar visual glitch with other character skins and combos, and it seems all of them are related to the Prowler submachine gun to some extent. A player had this problem using Wraith’s legendary skins Vengeance Seeker and The Liberator while using the Prowler with a 3x Hcog sight, while another had a problem with Pathfinder’s Omega Point skin and a Prowler again.

It sounds more like the Prowler submachine gun is bugged, not Caustic’s legendary skin. Respawn has yet to confirm more details about this bug, but players should be careful when using a Prowler or Caustic’s Sixth Sense until the company figures it out.
