Burnice is a member of the Sons of Calydon faction, and she’s an upcoming agent in Zenless Zone Zero set to release in version 1.2.
While HoYoverse teased players with her official agent record, a bunch of leaks revealed her kit in the meantime. Here’s everything you need to know about Burnice in Zenless Zone Zero, including her rarity, attribute, abilities, and more.
This information is based on leaks on Reddit (via Mero) and is subject to change, so make sure to come back for any further updates.
Burnice rarity and attribute in Zenless Zone Zero
While players can enjoy new content in ZZZ version 1.1 that went live recently, Burnice White is set to make her first debut in Patch 1.2 as an S-Rank Fire agent. Although we already have Koleda and Soldier 11 as S-Rank Fire agents, Burnice White will be the first limited S-Rank Fire agent in ZZZ, so you can expect her to be incredibly powerful. Besides her respective attribute, it’s also rumored Burnice White will have a very straightforward playstyle and deal a ton of Fire damage.
Burnice abilities and specialty in Zenless Zone Zero
Fire characters are usually main damage dealers in ZZZ who can carry your team to success by performing fast combos and dishing out a ton of damage. If the leaks are to be trusted, Burnice has a somewhat different playstyle.
Supposedly, she’s a hybrid sub-DPS with an Anomaly specialty who can deal a bunch of Fire damage from both off-field and on-field. This makes her very flexible for team building, and she has the potential to be one of the best characters in ZZZ yet.
To better understand her kit and how Burnice works, here’s a glimpse at her abilities and playstyle:
- Normal Attack: Performs five basic attacks that deal Physical and Fire damage. During her special state, by holding down her Normal Attack, Burnice spins around and sprays her opponents with flames that deal Fire damage, and then launches the finishing blow that deals extra fire damage.
- Skill: Burnice uses her flamethrower to deal AoE Fire damage to all opponents in front. Her anti-interruption is additionally increased and Burnice’s Skill charges her energy.
- EX Special Attack: When Burnice gathers enough energy, by holding down her EX Special Attack, she causes a lot of Fire damage to all opponents in front of her. Additionally, you can keep pressing her EX Special Attack to deal consistent Fire damage until the energy runs out. While spraying flames, Burnice’s anti-interruption is increased, and all the damage she receives is reduced by 40 percent.
- Ultimate: When using her Ultimate, Burnice leaps into the air and sprays all opponents for big Fire damage. By activating her Ultimate, you can use Quick assist that extends the duration of Burnice’s flame spray.
- Core Skill: Bernice’s Core Skill makes her a flexible unit you can play both on-field and off-field. Bernice collects up to a maximum of 100 stacks and her Fire damage increases by 15 percent. Her party members can collect stacks, too, and once Bernice enters the field, she consumes the stacks to deal damage equal to 150 percent of her attack.
- Dodge: Bernice’s Dodge mechanic allows her to perform a quick dash and deal quick physical and Fire damage with her flaming sprays.
- Passives: Bernice’s passives are connected to her entire kit. Whenever she consumes energy, she gains stacks, and at max stacks Bernice deals more damage. Additionally, when other party members attack, Bernice sprays even more flames, which means more damage.
