Blizzard released its most detailed roadmap yet for 2023 World of Warcraft Dragonflight content on Sept. 7, and with it, we now know some of the content coming in season three with Patch 10.2.
With a new zone, raid, and legendary weapon, among other things, there’s an abundance of content to look forward to. And with the beginning of the patch’s PTR, one would expect that the new patch will be in the hands of players sooner rather than later.
WoW Dragonflight Patch 10.2 release date
Dragonflight Patch 10.2 will release on Nov. 7, and the new season, season three, will start one week after, on Nov. 14. Since the new patch is going live on the day of the weekly reset, this means it will start for NA fans on Nov. 7, while EU players have to wait until Nov. 8 to start exploring the Emerald Dream.
Just like other major Dragonflight patches, Patch 10.2 will give players a ton of new toys to play with—new zone, raid, Renown faction, and various collectibles like toys, mounts, and, of course, transmogs. My first order of business when I finally step into the Emerald Dream will surely be to complete the new questlines, and unlock the new Dragonriding drake, all while exploring every nook and cranny of this long-awaited zone.
The Emerald Dream was first mentioned during the original release of the game, back in 2004, but it was scrapped. Finally, almost two decades after, Blizzard is putting this incredible zone into players’ hands, and I’m glad the wait is finally paying off.
