World of Warcraft Season of Discovery features a new item called Waylaid Supplies, but many don’t know what to do with them, let alone where to turn them in.

What are Waylaid Supplies in WoW Season of Discovery?
As you wander the world of Azeroth in search of new Runes and Discoveries, you’ll get Waylaid Supplies. I was initially confused since I’ve never seen them before, but Waylaid Supplies are bind-on-pickup items that, when given to Supply Officers, grant you reputation with the Durotar Supply and Logistics (Horde) and the Azeroth Commerce Authority (Alliance). You need to reach Honored level with these factions added in Season of Discovery to buy Runes, or new abilities, for your class. Each Rune costs four gold and 50 silver.

Waylaid Supplies come in two forms—level 10 and 25. While you can get level 10 Waylaid Supplies from level one, level 25 is available at the max level. Each Waylaid Supplies box needs to be filled with specific items like Peacebloom, Copper Bars, and Runed Silver Rods, to name a few. You can turn it in empty, but you get more reputation if you fill it with appropriate materials.
How to turn in Waylaid Supplies in WoW Season of Discovery
After you have one Waylaid Supplies shipment in your inventory, you can turn it in at any Supply Officer in the capital city, normally near the auction house. They can also be found in different parts of the city, depending on where you’re trying to turn the quest in. When you have a Waylaid Supplies crate in your bags, that NPC will have a blue question mark above their head, just like any other repeatable quests.

Jornah, the Supply Officer in Orgrimmar, can be found in Valley of Strength, to the left of the auction house at the coordinates 51.65, 63.94.
Undercity Supply Officer
Gishah, the Supply Officer in Undercity, can be found in the upper ring, to the right of the light armor merchant and the general trade supplier, at the coordinates 64.57, 38.56.
Thunder Bluff Supply Officer
Dokimi, the Supply Officer in Thunder Bluff, is located on the lowest level, to the left of the auction house, and in front of a big fur at the coordinates 39.53, 53.79.

Stormwind Supply Officer
Elaine Compton, the Supply Officer in Stormwind, is located in front of the auction house in the Trade District at the coordinates 54.67, 61.14.
Ironforge Supply Officer
Tamelyn Aldridge, the Supply Officer in Ironforge, is located on the other side of The Gates of Ironforge, right in the middle of The Commons area at the coordinates 25.4, 67.8.
Darnassus Supply Officer
Marcy Baker, the Supply Officer in Darnassus, is in the Tradesmen’s Terrace, near Warrior’s Terrace at the coordinates 59.8, 56.6.
Rewards for turning in Waylaid Supplies in WoW Classic Season of Discovery
Once you turn in one level 10 Waylaid Supply to a Supply Officer empty, you get:
- 100 reputation with Durotar Supply and Logistics if you’re Horde, and 100 reputation with Azeroth Commerce Authority if you’re Alliance
- One silver
- 70 experience
If you get the necessary items for level 10 Waylaid Supply, you get:
- 300 reputation with Durotar Supply and Logistics if you’re Horde, and 100 reputation with Azeroth Commerce Authority if you’re Alliance
- Six silver
- 80 experience
For empty level 25 Waylaid Supply, you get:
- 200 reputation with Durotar Supply and Logistics if you’re Horde, and 100 reputation with Azeroth Commerce Authority if you’re Alliance

How to get Waylaid Supplies in WoW Classic Season of Discovery
Getting Waylaid Supplies is easy—slay enemies and loot them. You’re guaranteed to get Waylaid Supplies from mobs. Humanoids, Undead, and even Beasts can drop the supplies. Besides that, you can loot them from various chests. Once you have some, just take them to a Supply Officer.
You can turn in Waylaid Supplies empty, but you get less reputation as a reward.
What are Waylaid Supplies used for in WoW Classic Season of Discovery?
Waylaid Supplies are the main way of farming reputation with Durotar Supply and Logistics for the Horde and Azeroth Commerce Authority for the Alliance. They offer rewards when you reach Friendly and Honored levels, respectively. To be friendly with these factions, you can buy a 10-slot bag, cloth gloves, leather boots, and a mail waist. But the real party is when you reach Honored with Durotar Supply and Logistics and Azeroth Commerce Authority because you can purchase one rune for your class for four gold and 50 silver.
