Fearbreaker is a quest added in WoW The War Within, and it’s also a new achievement you receive for all your hard work in The Ringing Deeps zone.
The quest itself is a part of a bigger quest chain that starts in The Ringing Deeps. Upon finishing it, you also unlock the Fearbreaker Achievement for you to add to your collection in The War Within expansion. So, here’s our full guide on how to start and complete Fearbreaker quest in WoW The War Within.
How to start the Fearbreaker quest in WoW The War Within
Since the Fearbreaker quest is a part of a bigger chain, there are a couple of pre-requisites you must fulfill. The quest takes place in The Ringing Deeps zone, which is the second place you visit after the Isle of Dorn. You also need to do the campaign story quest in The Ringing Deeps zone, because only then you can start the Fearbreaker chain quest.
Once you meet the pre-requisites, you can talk to Moira Thaurissan in Gundargaz. She gives you a quest called A Hint of Fear that starts the entire quest chain, which takes place in the southern part of The Ringing Deeps. Here are the quests you need to complete before you reach the Fearbreaker quest:
- A Hint of Fear
- Mineral Water Woes
- Put on a Good Face
- Epicenter
- Boiling Mad
- Fault Lines
- Clean Up House
- These Strong hands
All these quests are very straightforward, as they require you to mostly talk to Moira Thaurissan, collect materials, and fight monsters, so you can complete them quickly to reach the Fearbreaker quest.

Once you do all of that, you’ll finally get the Fearbreaker quest, which requires you to fight Skardyn mobs and rescue Earthens until the progress meter reaches 100 percent. Upon finishing this challenge, you get the last part of this chain quest called The Bronzebeard Legacy. All you need to do is hand in the quest to Moira Thaurissan in Gundargaz, and you’ll finally unlock the Fearbreaker achievement.
