Although a part of World of Warcraft Classic, Season of Discovery has its own separate realms. There aren’t that many Season of Discovery realms, but Blizzard Entertainment made sure each and every WoW player has their own home based on their preferences.
Realms in WoW are separate instances in each region (e.g. NA and Europe). Each realm can support a certain number of players, and your choice of a realm can drastically change your gameplay, especially because it influences the value of goods like materials and how smooth your leveling might look. Besides all that, realms are normally divided into four different categories—PvP, PvE, RP, and RP-PvP.
Here are all available realms in WoW Classic Season of Discovery.
List of all WoW Classic Season of Discovery realms
Season of Discovery features three out of four possible realm types:
- PvP
- PvE
- RP-PvP
This means that each region has at least three separate realms. Blizzard revealed that they want to keep the number of realms down to a minimum to ease the process of selecting your realm so that there aren’t right and wrong realms to create your character on. If it turns out Season of Discovery becomes incredibly popular, Blizzard is ready to ship more realms.
Besides that, the devs will keep an eye on the realm population, and if they are becoming one-sided, Blizzard will limit character creation. This will also extend to PvP realms where faction imbalances happen so frequently because PvPers are always on the lookout for even the smallest advantages they can get over their opponents.
All NA WoW Classic Season of Discovery realms
Unfortunately, the list of all available North American realms still hasn’t been officially revealed.
All EU WoW Classic Season of Discovery realms
The full list of European realms still has yet to see the light of the day, but we’ll be sure to add them when they are confirmed.
