A total of seven Teamfight Tactics World Championships have taken place since Riot Games’ autobattler launched, with winners from France, Korea, NA, Japan, and China.
Winning a Teamfight Tactics World Championship isn’t easy, requiring a massive amount of time spent on the ladder in conjunction with skill and a little bit of high-roll luck. Since the official release of TFT, there have been a total of nine Sets, including the beta. Only seven of those Sets have showcased a World Championship. Starting with Set 10, Mid-Set updates will get removed from the autobattler, showcasing four Set championships each year.
Every TFT World Championship title winner and region
The first TFT Worlds took place at the end of Galaxies, a unique set that showcased a variety of mechanics via the galaxy mechanic. But Galaxies wasn’t the first official Riot-sponsored tournament. During the Rise of the Elements, an Invitational took place with TSM Keane taking home the title. After Galaxies came Fates, followed by Reckoning and Gizmos & Gadgets.
Here’s every TFT Worlds winner since the first World Championship.
- Galaxies: KC Double 61 from France
- Fates: 8LJayWalking from Korea
- Reckoning: Huanmie from China
- Gizmos & Gadgets: LiLuo from China
- Dragonlands: XunGe from China
- Monsters’ Attack: Rereplay from North America
- Runeterra Reforged: Title from Japan
- Remix Rumble: Milala from NA
- Inkborn Fables: Dishsoap from NA
TFT Worlds regional seeds
A total of eight regions are represented at the TFT World Championship. Some regions, like China and EMEA, can have up to five players due to the size of the region. Starting with the Gizmos & Gadgets World Championship, Riot increased the total number of players from each region.
The number of players was once again adjusted for the Monsters’ Attack World Championship and again for the Runeterra Reforged World Championship. Going forward from Set Nine, the region that won the previous Worlds earned an extra seed for the upcoming World Championship. This is why NA had five seeds instead of four at the Set Nine World Championship.
- China: Six seeds
- NA: Five seeds
- EMEA: Four seeds
- KR: Four seeds
- BR: Three seeds
- SEA: Three seeds
- LATAM: Three seeds
- Japan: Two seeds
- OCE: Two seeds
China had outperformed every other region, having won three TFT Worlds titles. Rereplay broke China’s Worlds win-streak at the Monsters’ Attack World Championship, defeating Flancy from China to earn the first NA Worlds title. And then Japan earned its first Worlds victory through Title at the Runeterra Reforged World Championship.
