Since the beginning of time, anyone who has said “Don’t act suspicious,” ends up bringing attention to themselves. That proved true yet again when Twitch streamer DailyDasher caught the attention of New York Police Department officers today.

While walking around New York, Dasher noticed two police officers at their cars along the sidewalk.

“Don’t act suspicious,” Dasher said to his stream with a tone of confidence and bravado in his voice.

With the grace of the comedy gods, one of the officers stepped toward Dasher while looking into his camera. Dasher giggled when he realized how perfect the comedic timing was.

“Can I help you?” the officer said, as the second officer glared at Dasher from a nearby police vehicle.

“Oh, I thought you were stopping in front of the camera,” Dasher responded. “I thought you were trying to say ‘hi’ or something,” Dasher said.

The police officer was not stopping in front of the camera nor saying hello. Dasher then quickly continued walking down the sidewalk as he chuckled to himself.

DailyDasher probably would’ve had a better chance of not acting suspicious had he not been talking to himself with a camera strapped to his body.
