Things didn’t go as planned for Twitch streamer Ezekiel_III yesterday while trying his best to hide from a horde of enemies in Days Gone.
Ezekiel was creeping around an indoor bunker and found an exit. He swung open the door, only to have a group of freakers (the zombies in Days Gone) start sprinting toward him.
“Close the door, close the door,” he yelled. He crept forward a bit to trigger the button prompt to close the door, but those extra steps ultimately sealed his fate.
As it closed, the door actually phased through Ezekiel’s character and shut behind him, leaving him entirely exposed to the swarming enemies.
“Oh god, close it with me in it, you fucking idiot,” Ezekiel appeared to yell, although the loud sound of the attacking freaker horde drowned out his commentary.
Within seconds of a pitiful attempt to run away, about 10 freakers were on top of him, and the death screen came up as soon as the player fell to the ground.
All Ezekiel could do at that point was let out a hardy laugh at how ridiculously fast the situation went from controlled to disastrous.
