Sometimes the best pranks are the ones that weren’t even planned. Such is the case when Twitch streamer Pokelawls used his Grand Theft Auto V roleplay character Bogg to pull a fast one on Spaceboy’s Mel character yesterday.

Mel was trying to place a call on the NoPixel server to a number given to him by Bogg. Just as he placed it, another call came into his phone. Mel hung up and then had a sudden epiphany as to what just happened.

“Did Bogg give me my own number… oh, son of a bitch,” Mel said. Mel double checked and confirmed that Bogg had in fact given Mel his own number.

“I didn’t even know you could do that,” Mel said. “I just got finessed by a guy that’s been playing here for like, a month.”

Once Mel finally got Bogg’s actual number, he called him to air his grievances.

“Would you like to know how long it took me to figure out that was my own number?” Mel asked Bogg over the phone.

“…Did I give you your own number back?” Bogg said. He started to laugh as he realized what he had done.

“Yes,” Mel said. “I called it like four times, and it just kept saying, as I was calling Ricky it would say, ‘you are receiving a call from Ricky.'”

“It was just an endless loop that I couldn’t figure out,” Mel said.
