Adin Ross sat down with former U.S. President Donald Trump on a Kick livestream today in an effort to reach out to young voters, white MAGA hat and all.
The viewership for the stream rocketed past 560,000 viewers as Trump recited talking points from his campaign with a small audience of 26 people sitting behind the duo, who complimented each other and lamented the current state of America. That makes it eligible for the top five most-viewed streams on the Kick platform, according to StreamsCharts.
During the stream, Trump repeated common talking points from his campaign rallies, such as Joe Biden allegedly being pushed out by a “coup,” terrorists and murderers coming over the border, expressing sadness that you “can’t say Merry Christmas” anymore, how he would end the conflict in Ukraine, and more claims against the current administration.
But one of the most interesting moments of the stream came when Ross pulled out a box and handed it to Trump as a gift. The former host of The Apprentice opened it and found a Rolex watch, which costs thousands of dollars.
Previously, Ross reached Kick’s then-record high of around 330,000 viewers last September with a fake-out interview when he said he’d be appearing with North Korea’s Kim Jong Un. It ended up being an impersonator then, but this time, the real deal showed up—and so did his supporters in the chat.
Toward the end of the stream, Trump and Ross attempted to do a “one word reaction” to a video of various persons of interest, such as Kim Jong Un, Justin Trudeau, Joe Rogan, and more. The “one-word” theme was ditched quickly, however, as Trump often rambled about the person and ended up with different conversations entirely. Popular streamer xQc also made an appearance on the stream, and Ross gifted Trump a Tesla Cybertruck wrapped with the image of his raised fist following an assassination attempt last month.
You can watch the full interview in Adin Ross’ Kick VOD from today.
