Everyone has their eyes on Starfield. Bethesda and Microsoft created enormous hype behind the game, and with the two merging, many wondered whether the game would be available on Xbox Game Pass.

It’s no secret Microsoft has expanded in recent years, acquiring a plethora of studios, and there’s no doubt that Bethesda is the crown jewel of its acquisitions so far. With the studio responsible for such gaming giants as The Elder Scrolls and Fallout franchises, the deal has been valuable for Xbox Game Pass owners. Bethesda’s games are already on the subscription, so will Starfield follow suit?

Will Starfield be on Xbox Game Pass?

If you’re an Xbox Game Pass user, we hope you booked some days off work. Starfield will be available on the platform from day one of the standard edition’s launch, so you’ll be able to jump into outer space as soon as the game launches.

Additionally, those who are Xbox Game Pass members also get access to pre-order content included in the Starfield Standard Edition. This includes a Laser Cutter, Deep Mining Helmet, and Deep Mining Pack.

When does Starfield release on Xbox Game Pass?

Starfield becomes available for every Xbox Game Pass user on Sept. 5 or Sept. 6, depending on where you live. Below we’ve prepared a table of various timezones for Starfield’s standard release.

  • Sept. 5, 5pm PT (Los Angeles)
  • Sept. 5, 7pm CT (Austin)
  • Sept. 5, 8pm ET (New York/Quebec)
  • Sept. 5, 9pm BRT (São Paulo)
  • Sept. 6, 1am BST (London)
  • Sept. 6, 2am CEST (Berlin)
  • Sept. 6, 10am AEST (Sydney)
  • Sept. 6, 9am JST (Tokyo)
