Since Spider-Man 2 is such a large title, finding out how to complete an achievement fast is worth doing. There are no real shortcuts, but you can definitely do the Armed and Dangerous trophy the wrong way.
How to unlock the Armed and Dangerous trophy in Spider-Man 2
The Armed and Dangerous trophy requires players to kill enemies using Peter Parker’s robotic arms in Spider-Man 2. Once you’ve eliminated 100 opponents with Parker’s robotic, spider arms, you will unlock the trophy. Using any of the L1 abilities will accrue kills to this tally.
There have been reports on social media that this trophy is bugged. If you’re struggling to complete the trophy, you might have to wait until Insomniac releases a patch.
Best way to unlock the Armed and Dangerous trophy in Spider-Man 2
As you’re swinging from ledge to ledge in Spider-Man 2, you’ll encounter various forms of enemies. While you’re tackling a crowd of symbiotes or sand-people, buttering them up with a certain amount of punches beforehand will make this significantly easier.
Once they’ve been hit with a wombo-combo and their health is low, it’s the perfect time to throw in an L1 + Triangle (it might be different for you), thus beginning your Spider Rush. This ability in particular draws multiple enemies into your path, killing them in the process. I found this was the best way to take out clusters of enemies in a single blow.
Each mechanical arm ability will work either way. Just use it to kill your opponents and you’ll eventually get the Armed and Dangerous trophy in Spider-Man 2.
