Season one of Skull and Bones promises to introduce plenty of new content to Ubisoft’s pirate game, so eager fans want to know when it starts. Here’s everything you need to know about Skull and Bones season one, Raging Tides.
When will Skull and Bones season one launch?
In the recent developer livestream, Ubisoft confirmed Skull and Bones season one, Raging Tides, will launch on Feb. 27. The developer highlighted during the stream that more information regarding new content and bug fixes will be revealed throughout this remaining week, so keep your eyes peeled on the game’s social media channels.
Ubisoft’s roadmap for Skull and Bones confirmed four seasons’ worth of post-launch content, and there’s potential for even more should the game remain consistently popular throughout 2024. Ubisoft previously confirmed that each season will last for approximately three months, which makes sense if it wants to fit four seasons over 12 months. This means we can expect season one to last until late May.
As for what will be included in season one content, so far, Ubisoft has confirmed the following:
- A new boss encounter with Phillipe La Peste, the “dreaded pirate lord of the Caribbean,” and his fleet
- New Faction Convoys and world events
- Territory Control
- A battle against a new sea monster, the Kingpin Tylosaurus (Zamaharibu)
- New Hostile Takeover and Legendary Heist opportunities
- Smuggler Pass with free and premium seasonal rewards
In the meantime, you have less than a week to progress through the game, build up your Infamy Ranks, and upgrade your ship in preparation for Skull and Bones‘ endgame and post-launch content.
