The next Rainbow Six Siege Major tournament will be hosted by organizer BLAST in Copenhagen, Denmark, the developer revealed last night.
It’ll gather the 24 best teams in the game from nine different regions to face off against each other to be crowned champion and earn a slice of a $750,000 prize pool.
This prize pool will raise as players buy the Blast R6 Copenhagen Major Bandit Bundle, an exclusive skin set dedicated to the esports event. 20 percent of the total revenue will contribute to the prize pool, similar to the previous Six Invitational iterations.
The international tournament will kick off on April 24 and culminate with live finals at the Forum Copenhagen on May 5 to 7. The venue has a 10,000-seat capacity and welcomed VALORANT‘s Masters tournament last year.

The Major tournament will be split into three phases. The first will feature a double-elimination bracket. The best teams will qualify for the swiss bracket, and then the playoffs. Those will be in a single-elimination bracket, so teams won’t have any margin for error.
Meanwhile, most of the tournament’s qualifier tournaments have already started in several regions. The Major doesn’t feature any invited teams, so all 24 participants will have to fight for their way in.
The tournament will be key for the team’s season since their final ranking will give qualification points for 2023 Six Invitational, which is the equivalent of World Championship on the shooting game.
Rainbow Six fans can already get tickets on this website, featuring several prices based on the ticket’s categories.
