Boasting an impressive $2 million prize pool, the PUBG Mobile Club Open 2019 will feature both semi-pro and pro teams from around the world. The tournament will be split into a spring and fall split, each with their own separate prize pools. The spring split finals will take place in July and will be followed by a global finals at the end of the year.

Teams can begin signing up for the event on March 8 before registration closes on March 18. To be eligible to participate, players need to be at least 16 years old and must have held the rank of Platinum or higher at the end of the prior season. At least three players on each team need to be from the countries they are attempting to represent in the PMCO 2019 throughout the year.

Last year, the PUBG Mobile Star Challenge saw over 230 million online views after the Thai-based team RRQ Athena secured the victory at the event’s Global Championship in Dubai, taking home $200,000.

With the reveal of the PMCO 2019, Tencent and PUBG Corp. have taken the next steps to ensure that PUBG remains a strong mobile esport.
