PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has sold three million copies on the Xbox One in just one month, Xbox announced today.
PUBG released into the Xbox Game Preview program on Dec. 12, and was an immediate hit. PUBG Corp last announced a milestone of 30 million players combined on both PC and Xbox One on Dec. 21.
The Xbox One version of the game is still a bit rough around the edges compared to the PC’s 1.0 launch, but players on console don’t seem to care. A recent patch has helped alleviate some problems, such as crashes and framerate issues on the Xbox.

“The team at PUBG Corp. is determined to continue to improve the in-game experience for PUBG’s growing and active community and have already released four updates since the game’s launch in Xbox Game Preview on Dec. 12,” Xbox’s announcement reads. “You’ll continue to see regular updates roll out for PUBG on Xbox One such as this week’s addition of first-person support for solo, duo, and squads gameplay and the team is just getting started, with more updates planned that include additional game optimization and the new Miramar map.”
PUBG Corp. CEO C.H. Kim recently opened the window for PUBG to release on PS4 eventually, but for now, Xbox fans have a smash hit console exclusive all to themselves.
