ENCE has entered PUBG by signing a roster just weeks before the game’s official European league gets under way.
The Finnish organization announced the signing of its new roster, which previously played under the guise of o1ne, just before PUBG Corp. released details on the league.
The roster came together in the middle of 2018 with hopes of assembling a Finnish lineup that could compete with the best.
“We are proud to enter PUBG Europe League with the most competitive roster from Finland,” Mika Kuusisto, ENCE’s CEO, said. “PlayerUnknown’s Battleground has taken significant steps in creating attractive league structure, justifying ENCE to start expanding internationally. Our team could not be more excited to establish operations and a gamehouse in Berlin.”
Taking place in Berlin, Germany, the PUBG Europe League’s official launch date is March 21. It was previously planned to begin at the start of 2019, but no further details followed until today.
ENCE’s stock in esports was raised over the past weekend when it finished in second place at the IEM Katowice Major, losing only to two-time Major champions Astralis.
