Pokémon Go events are beginning to ramp up as the new year brings new Pokémon, new and returning events, and plenty more things Pokémon Go players know and love, like Community Days, Raid Days, and Spotlight Hours.

Niantic runs Pokémon Go events essentially every week, with most going back-to-back with their start and end dates. Typically, an event will focus on one core theme and introduce a previously unreleased Pokémon or Shiny variant to the game. Whether it’s a Community Day, Raid Day, or a weeklong event, players have plenty of rotating content to enjoy.

January 2024 is the second month of the Timeless Travels season of content and is building up to the launch of Go Tour: Sinnoh in February. Here are all the events you can look forward to this month, along with their start times.

Tip: Make sure you pay attention to start and end times!

Every Pokémon Go event has different start and end times depending on your local timezone. Niantic tends to refer to event times using local time instead of any specific timezone, unless an event has an in-person element, so make sure you know the exact times.
