Timed Research quests are a great way to earn rewards in Pokémon Go, but they don’t last long. You need to be fast if you want to complete them in a short amount of time. The 2023 Pokémon World Champion Timed Research is one of these quests.

It’s a Timed Research you do have to go out of your way to get. It’s available to anyone watching the Twitch Pokémon Go stream for the World Championship 2024. You need to watch the event for at least 30 minutes, and then you receive a code to redeem and begin working on this Timed Research. It’s a celebration of the 2023 Pokémon World Champion, which features Sableye and earning Sableye Candy.

How to complete 2023 Pokémon World Champion Timed Research in Pokémon Go

Similar to the Team Building: Great League Timed Research that players could earn on the first day of the World Championship 2024 event, this research is only available on the second day, Aug. 17. You need to head over to the official Pokémon Go Twitch channel and watch for at least 30 minutes to earn the code. After you get the code, you’ll receive a code to your Pokémon Trainer Account, and then you can bring that over to Niantic’s Code Redemption website, syncing it to your Pokémon Go account.

Many of these tasks shouldn’t take too long, but you don’t want to waste time. You only have a few days to complete this Timed Research before it’s no longer available in Pokémon Go. Anyone who regularly uses Sableye in the Great or Ultra League can earn plenty of candy and XL candy for this Pokémon.
