What is the Palworld Legendary Schematic drop rate?

The Palworld Legendary Schematic drop rate is around 2.5-3 percent. However, the community is up in arms about the exact drop rate percentage of the Legendary Schematic dropping from an Alpha Pal boss.

Reddit users have found that Palworld Legendary Schematics will drop after around 90 kills of an Alpha Pal.

Author’s Note

In my own experience, though, that has not been the case. I defeated KingPaca for the Legendary Old Bow Schematic around eight times before I got it.

This means the chances of getting a drop you’re after is around one in 90 at worst or three in 90 at best unless you’re lucky. Those aren’t great odds, especially when you consider the Alpha Pals that drop these Schematics take an hour to respawn, so if you’re seeking a specific item, you could end up grinding for days.

I spent three days grinding until the Legendary Handgun finally dropped from a Beakon, and that was only because I changed my world settings to help the cause.

Adjust your in-game settings in Palworld for higher drop rates

If you are tired of grinding for Legendary Schematics and want a higher drop rate, then you can simply adjust the settings, so here’s how:

  1. Go back to the main menu
  2. Go to the world you want to change the settings on.
  3. Click on “change world settings.”
  4. In those settings, go to the Day and Night Speed options and turn them up. This will make the in-game time go by faster, and the Alpha bosses spawn quicker.
  5. Set the Pal Appearance Rate to 3 so that the bosses will spawn in groups of 3 at the same time

It’ll still be a bit of a grind to get them all, though, but if you’re out of things to do and collect or just want to try and get everything, it’s worth it. Consider planning out a route on the map from one Alpha Pal to the next, then follow this route every hour.
