Palworld’s Towers contain the game’s most challenging combat encounters, each housing a formidable boss. Spread across the island, these five Towers vary in difficulty. Generally, the harder a Tower is to access, the more challenging the boss battle, requiring better equipment and a higher player level to win the challenge.
Every Palworld Tower location
To find every tower in Palworld, visit all four main islands, covering the volcano, desert, and snow biomes. Although the game doesn’t require you to tackle the tower bosses in a certain order, organizing them by boss level can help you decide which to challenge first, as lower-level bosses are easier to beat than higher-level ones. You’ll also need specific gear to survive hot and cold weather in some of these areas. Below is a list of the best order to complete Palworld towers:
Tower Name | Boss | Boss Level |
---|---|---|
Tower of the Rayne Syndicate | Zoe and Grizzbolt | 10 |
Tower of the Free Pal Alliance | Lily and Lyleen | 25 |
Tower of the Brothers of the Eternal Pyre | Axel and Orserk | 40 |
Tower of the PIDF | Marcus and Faleris | 45 |
Tower of the PAL Genetic Research Unit | Victor and Shadowbeak | 50 |
1) Tower of the Rayne Syndicate location
Tower information | Details |
---|---|
Coordinates | 112, -434 |
Boss | Zoe and Grizzbolt |
Pal element | Electric |
Recommended level | 15 |
Recommended counters | Rushoar, Dumud, Eikthyrdeer Terra, or other high-level Ground Pals. |
At Rayne Syndicate Tower, your foe is Zoe and her Electric-type Pal, Grizzbolt. Palworld nudges you toward this Tower as the final part of the tutorial, but don’t be fooled—the fight can be pretty challenging, especially if you’re going solo or if your world settings are set to base damage modifiers. Come prepared with your strongest weapons and a Pal that knows Ground-type attacks to stand a better chance.
Focusing on Pals with Ground-type moves can work, but utilizing more Daedreams can also prove helpful. Daedreams have an ability that allows them to fight alongside each other without being summoned from their Pal Spheres. So, you can show up with a small army ready to take on Zoe.
2) Tower of the Free Pal Alliance location
Tower information | Details |
---|---|
Coordinates | 185, 28 |
Boss | Lily and Lyleen |
Pal element | Grass |
Recommended level | 30 |
Recommended counters | Arsox, Bushi, Ragnahawk, or other high-level Fire Pals. |
After tackling Rayne Syndicate Tower, consider heading to the Tower of the Free Pal Alliance next. It houses the second-lowest HP boss in Palworld. To reach this Tower, equip cold-resistant armor. Inside, you and your party have a 10-minute window to take down the Free Pal Alliance founder, Lily, and her Grass-type Pal, Lyleen.
For this encounter, a Fire-type Pal can be invaluable. Packaging a Fire Bow or Crossbow along with Fire Arrows can significantly boost your chances of success.
3) Tower of the Brothers of the Eternal Pyre location
Tower information | Details |
---|---|
Coordinates | -588, -518 |
Boss | Axel and Orserk |
Pal element | Electric/Dragon |
Recommended level | 40 |
Recommended counters | Reptyro, Anubis, Cryolinx, or other Ice or Ground-type Pals. |
Next is a showdown with Axel and his Pal Orserk in a tougher battle. These adversaries are more aggressive and frequently use their abilities compared to previous Tower bosses. In my experience, ranged weapons like Crossbows are particularly effective against Orserk. That’s why I recommend you come with arrows to maintain a steady offense throughout the fight.
4) Tower of the PIDF location
Tower information | Details |
---|---|
Coordinates | 561, 334 |
Boss | Marcus and Faleris |
Pal element | Fire |
Recommended level | 45 |
Recommended counters | Jormuntide, Surfent, Azurobe or other Water-type Pals. |
Completing the Tower of the PIDF is tough and will demand the best preparation, even for higher-level players with favorable world settings. Gear up with powerful Rifles and sturdy Metal armor to stand a chance against Marcus and his Fire-type Pal, Faleris.
Given Faleris’ ability to fly, ensure the Pals you bring can target airborne creatures with ranged attacks, making your attempt more likely to succeed within the time limit.
5) Tower of the PAL Genetic Research Unit location
Tower information | Details |
---|---|
Coordinates | -149, 445 |
Boss | Victor and Shadowbeak |
Pal element | Dark |
Recommended level | 50 |
Recommended counters | Jetragon, Jormuntide, Quivern, or other Ice-type Pals. |
This battle is the pinnacle of difficulty in Palworld, pitting you against Victor and his Shadowbeak, a formidable Dark-type flying Pal with a staggering 220,000 HP. Shadowbeak is resistant to damage from standard bullets and arrows, so even the most potent weapons and optimal world settings may need more to overcome this ultimate boss; getting the help of friends can be the key to victory.
While the fight between Victor and Shadowbeak is pretty tricky, it’s essential to remember the tower’s location in the snowy biome. So, coming equipped with cold-resistant clothing is a must. Fire-type pals should be left aside to prioritize the fight rather than the warmth they can give you.
What are Towers in Palworld?
Towers are where Palworld players fight formidable bosses. Each of the five Towers has a special enemy—a big Pal with lots of health and strong attacks. Beating these bosses alone is a great challenge, even on normal Palworld difficulty settings. But if you team up with three other players, it becomes much easier.
When you clear a Tower for the first time, you get five Ancient Technology Points. You can challenge Tower bosses again for more experience (XP) or to get items, but you won’t get extra Ancient Technology Points for your next victories.
