Following the April 4 update, you can now produce High Quality Pal Oil in Palworld. To do that, you need to assign Dumuds to Ranch. Luckily, the Pal can be easily found in the Volcanic biome, or the Forest one, so you shouldn’t have too many issues catching it.
Once you have a Dumud at your disposal, you can assign it to Ranch. It’s a tier-five technology, so it’s pretty easy to unlock, and it only requires two points to do so. In Ranches, a few Pals can drop specific items, and following the latest update, Dumud drops High Quality Pal Oil. So, if you’re in dire need of this ingredient, just make sure a few Dumuds are working in the Ranch, and you should have plenty of High Quality Pal Oils in the blink of an eye.
Best way to farm High Quality Pal Oil in Palworld
The best way to quickly farm High Quality Pal Oil is to head north into the desert region and start clearing out certain species that spawn there—specifically Digtoise. All Pals you encounter in this area will be higher level, and I recommend you bring along your best combat Pals.
Digtoise and several other species can drop up to six High Quality Pal Oil when you defeat or capture them. You can find other areas to grind for it, but visiting the desert during the day almost guarantees you’ll encounter Pals that drop the item you need. Digitoise is a Ground-type Pal, meaning the best way to counter it is to bring along a Grass-type Pal. While in the desert, you can also find Fire-type Pals, and I recommend you also have a Water-type Pal with you. This region is quite dangerous, especially because it has hot days and cold nights, and I suggest you prepare well before your travels.
