Palworld gives you access to various console commands you should know before jumping in. You can also access the console commands if you want a dedicated server to play privately with friends. If you’re trying to figure out how to use these console commands or what they do, here’s everything you need to know.
How to use console commands in Palworld
To access console commands in Palworld, you need to set up a dedicated server. You can do this by hosting it from a third party or your PC. The server costs a monthly fee, but the tradeoff is that the server can be online while your PC is off.
Once you have a dedicated server, you use console commands by typing them into the chat box as you would to chat.
You can join other dedicated servers by selecting the multiplayer option and searching for custom servers. Though official servers host up to 32 players, there are plenty of private servers you can request to join.
Palworld is in early access, so content is subject to change as the game progresses with updates and its full launch. We’ll update this article to reflect changes or new admin commands when they’re added.
All admin commands in Palworld listed
You must acquire the administrator password before using any admin commands listed below. You need to set this password if you’re hosting the dedicated server yourself, or the server host will have the password.
Once you have the password, all the options at your disposal are below:
Command | Description |
/Shutdown {Seconds} {MessageText} | Shuts down the server for everyone after a set amount of time has passed. |
/DoExit | Stops the server. |
/KickPlayer {Steam ID} | Kicks the assigned player from the server. |
/BanPlayer {Steam ID} | Bans an assigned player from the server. |
/Broadcast {MessageText} | Displays a message to all players in the server. |
/TeleportToPlayer {Steam ID} | Instantly teleports you to the assigned player. |
/TeleportToMe {Steam ID} | Instantly teleports the assigned player to you. |
/ShowPlayers | Shows a list of players connected to the server. |
/Info | Displays server information. |
/Save | Saves the world data. |
For commands with example text like Seconds, Steam ID, and Message Text, be sure to understand that these are placeholders, and you will need to type your unique name, value, or message yourself in the parentheses.
Currently, players cannot simply spawn any Pals at will, but it’s safe to say PC players will be able to do so down the line.
While the console commands are limited, you can enable server commands exist by installing the WeMod Palworld trainer. This allows players to edit things like Pal health and player health, unlock all crafting recipes, and so on.
So, there you have it. You know everything you need about all of Palworld’s console commands. Enjoy!
