Over six years, the original Overwatch enjoyed 35 competitive seasons, from season one in 2016 to season 35 in 2022. As of 2024, Overwatch 2 is in its 13th season. Seasons last roughly two months and add new heroes, maps, and more to the game.

We are currently in Overwatch 2’s 13th season. The season started on Oct. 15, 2024, and according to the in-game timer for the season’s battle pass, it’ll wrap up on Dec. 9, 2024, followed immediately by season 14.

While Blizzard has not formally confirmed this at the time of writing, this would mean season 13 runs for roughly two months, which is how long seasons in Overwatch 2 typically last. Check out all the battle pass skins for the season.
