The Overwatch League roster move period is in full effect heading into the second season of competition.
Dallas Fuel acquired South Korean support Jung “Closer” Won-sik from the London Spitfire earlier today. Closer signed a two-year contract with the Fuel and became Dallas’ first new player for the 2019 season.
“We’ve had Closer on our radar for quite some time,” said Dallas Fuel head coach Aaron “Aero” Atkins. “He’s one of the most talented support players in Overwatch and obviously has great experience competing on the big stage, given his team’s runs in stage playoffs and grand finals last year. We expect Closer to come in and be able to contribute to the Fuel immediately.”
Closer is known for playing heroes such as Mercy, Lúcio, and Ana. He’s also well-known for being a part of the Spitfire lineup that won the inaugural season of the Overwatch League.

The 20-year-old will be joined by Jonathan “HarryHook” Tejedor Rua and Benjamin “uNKOE” Chevasson as the supports on Dallas Fuel. Fans of the Dallas organization will get to see Closer make his debut for the Fuel when Overwatch League season two begins in February.
