Resources are your primary concern as you search a new region in Once Human. The more resources you have at your base, the more items and equipment you can make to take on greater challenges. One of the tougher resources to find is Stardust Ore.
Stardust Ore is only found in a handful of locations throughout Once Human, and knowing where to find them can be challenging. Still, you need it for your crafting projects, and as you unlock more using your Ciphers, Stardust Ore becomes a more important component. Here’s how to get Stardust Ore in Once Human.
Where to farm Stardust Ore in Once Human
The best way to track down Stardust Ore is by mining it. There are good opportunities for you to collect it while searching any location full of Stardust pollution. These areas are dangerous as they lower your character’s Sanity level, removing your maximum health points, and you need to improve your character’s Sanity by drinking specific items, such as Fruit Tea, eating Grilled Mushrooms, or taking Sanity Gummies. You can craft these items back at your base, and I do recommend making them before visiting any of these polluted locations in Once Human.
You’ll know you’re in an area with Stardust pollution when the notification “The Stardust pollution is getting worse” appears on your screen. You’ll also see numbers on your backpack indicating the intensity of the pollution. When the numbers become red, you begin to lose Sanity.
While in this area in the open world, begin looking around the rainbow ore deposits. These are Stardust Ore; you should be able to chop away at them using your pickaxe. There are better tools you can use in Once Human, however, and I recommend having any of the electric drills if you can make them using the Specializations you’ve unlocked. It also helps to give these items the Treasure Hunter feature, as they yield more Stardust Ore resources whenever you harvest from these deposits.
Some of the best locations to find Stardust Ore are next to Secret Harbor in Iron River, the lake next to Sunbury in Broken Delta, or the rocks north of East Blackfell Junction in Iron River, to name a few. Not every Stardust-polluted area in Once Human contains Stardust Ore, so you’ll want to find reliable areas to farm this resource. Expect to teleport around the map to grab these spawns and switch to the next one after you finish with one farming spot.
