ESL to host a viewing party for IEM Sydney at Bankstown Sports Club

The cinema-like experience will allow fans to experience the best of IEM Sydney without the price tag.

A viewing party for the IEM Sydney group stage is set to be held in the western suburbs at the Bankstown Sports Club at the end of the month. The venue boasts a cinema, hotel, multiple restaurants, and a dedicated esports bar.

ESL will be putting on meet-and-greets with teams from IEM Sydney at Bankstown Sports Club before the event, as well as tournaments and free play for attendees. The viewing party will run for three days from April 30 to May 2 before the main event on May 3 to 5.

IEM Sydney will feature 16 of the best CS:GO teams from around the world and host the finals for Overwatch Contenders Australia season one 2019. Tickets for the main event at Qudos Bank Arena have nearly sold out, with the Bankstown viewing party being the only official opportunity to meet players before the main event.

Tickets for the viewing party are set at $15 AUD a day, or $35 AUD for the three-day pass covering Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. More details are available on the Bankstown Sports Club website.
