Put simply, you can play NHL 25 seven days early on Sept. 27 before its full launch on Oct. 4 by pre-ordering the game’s Deluxe Edition. By pre-ordering this edition you will also get a head start in the initial HUT campaign and WOC season.

You can pre-order NHL 25 by heading to the Xbox Store for Xbox Series X/S or the PlayStation Store for PlayStation 5. You can pre-order the deluxe edition on both platforms for $100 or $90 with an EA Play subscription. The standard edition costs $70. Once you pre-order the game and early access becomes available, you can then download it from its store page. While NHL 25 won’t be available on Xbox Game Pass, EA Play subscribers will get a 10-hour game trial when it launches on Oct. 4.

Pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition will also get you several other features, including:

  • NHL 25 base game
  • WOC Season 1 Premium Battle Pass
  • Immediate Reward In NHL 24 (Choice of Jack, Quinn, or Luke Hughes at 99 OVR)
  • HUT Cover Athlete Choice Pack (85 OVR, 1 of 8)

  • HUT “Hockey is Family” Objectives Choice Pack (x2, 82 OVR)
  • HUT NHL Player Pack
  • WOC Battle Pass XP Boost (x2)
  • Exclusive WOC Player Set

Additionally, those who pre-ordered the game before Sept. 13 got the Choice Pack featuring Jack Quinn and Luke Hughes at 84 OVR.
